Top Notes: Citrus, Lavandin

Middle Notes: Benzoin, Labdanum, Woody

Base Notes: Amergris, Tonka and Vanilla

    Out of an order of 5 perfumes, this was the one I hoped would be closest to the original given its simplicity yet absolute elegance, but unfortunately it’s quite different and doesn’t recreate the smooth, velvet like amber smell of MFK Grand Soir. Halo has mostly Rum notes to me, comparing it side by side with the original, it is in the same direction, but adds spice (almost like nutmeg or clove) and alcohol/booze.
    It might need a few weeks to macerate, but whilst the other perfumes I got were spot on, this one is not there yet.

    Halo is not an exact replica of Grand Soir; however, I appreciate the fresher approach that Bujairami adopted with the Citrus accord and a somewhat subdued Vanilla, although the Vanilla remains the most dominant note. Halo is quite versatile
