   I bought a sample for the original vanilla absolu by montale and I enjoyed it a lot so I decided to buy Bujairami’s version (dreamy delight) and upon first initial spray I was blown away by how it literally smells the same as original. I compared both side by side and I’d say it’s pretty close but not a 1:1 dupe. (I’d say 90% similar). The vanilla note in the original isn’t as strong and is more subtle and the original smells stronger with the balsamic and sandalwood, it’s also a bit more smokier. In the dupe, the vanilla is more noticeable, however you can still smell the other notes listed in the background. I can see how people would like the dupe more than the original.

   If you want to smell like a vanilla cupcake / vanilla extract then you’ll love dreamy delight. This is perfect on its own or layered with other scents ❤️

   I have never smelt the original, but I saw a few tiktoks saying this a great gourmand vanilla ice cream scent… AND IT IS. It is just straight sweet vanilla. It isn’t super creamy, but I think that’s a good thing because I can layer this fragrance with anything. I get so much use out of this, it’s incredible. This is the closest thing ive come to a vanilla extract scent, there’s no spice, no musk, no woodiness, just vanilla.
