This was too overpowering for me. I personally love gourmand, rich scents. Unfortunately, this was way too strong for me and made me feel uneasy. While it nails caramel, the sweetness is overwhelming. I’d recommend their Sticky Date or Vanilla Dream instead.

I love Bujairami, but this one was not it for me. Now I haven’t tried the original, so maybe I’m just not a fan of this perfume in general, but Caramelle smelt like old milk with burnt caramel in it. Every time I smelt it to see if it’d grow on me, my feelings towards it just became worse. I will say it was very hard to wash off, so a point for longevity can be given. But imo, definitely not a safe blind buy – coming from a gourmand girlie 🙁

Ok, here is my honest and most transparent review on this scent. I bought ‘Caramelle’ and ‘Vanilla Dream’ together, and I must say I do enjoy Vanilla Dream much more, though upon initial spray.

Caramelle is quite sickening on initial spray, it smells almost savoury to me, and as if the milk is a bit spoiled (lactonic notes may be different on me compared to others, but that is something to consider).
But once this dries down, I am obsessed. The base notes really come through whilst passing that weird unsettling first phase of the scent, it dries down to a lovely creamy, smooth caramel. I almost smell coconut in the dry down as well.

If I were to compare this to Vanilla Dream, I think this scent comes to a very similar dry down. They smell I would say 80% the same, but Caramelle comes off a bit more coconutty and deep.

Agreeing with the reviews prior, I would say this is not a safe blind buy – coming from a gourmand girlie as well.

If you do not like anything strong, overly sweet, (Salty?), weird initial spray then I would not recommend this. It almost feels like a trust the process fragrance lol.
